RT Moore Mechanical Contractors is expanding in the Florida Market. We are growing and with our growth we have new positions to fill!!
Established in 1955, R.T. Moore is a full-service Mechanical Contractor, serving the commercial and residential markets with plumbing, HVAC, engineering and design services.
We are looking for 3+years of experience to join our team. Openings available for those highly skilled individuals. Openings available for those highly skilled individuals; looking for both lead and tradesmen.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints and sketches; construct, lay out or plan piping assemblies with respect to walls, structures and other obstructions
- Assembling, installing, altering and repairing pipelines or pipe systems that carry water, steam, air or other liquids or gases
- Cuts and levels pipe utilizing a cutting torch or cutting machines.
- Construct various types of pipe joints for high or low-pressure systems, including threading, brazing, soldering, welding
- Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of articles including but not limited to; cast iron pipe and fittings, PVC/CPVC pipes and fittings, Carbon Steel (Grooved, Threaded & Welded), copper tubing and copper sweating and brazing processes
- Ensure accurate records on material and labor used
- Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multifamily plumbing/piping experience or combination of field and education in the trade.
- Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
- Able to manage portions of projects and will be the “right hand” to the foreman or supervisor
- Capable of forecasting tasks and materials
- Understand the importance of safety of self and others on the projects
- Knowledge of all codes and regulations specific to the project
